So who else has been playing this game? I've been having a lot of fun just walking and catching some stuff, especially if it's rare.

Although I hate when something pops up for a second, and then disappears.

I just went to the park that's like 3 minutes away, which is also a PokeStop. It's a small park, mostly local so it's out of the way of any major stuff.

We had about 6 people pull in and stop, and either get out of their cars or just sit in them playing Pokemon.

It was amazing.

Im already seeing articles where people have wondered onto roads without looking. Are they trying to catch a Pokemon or a lorry?

I've been playing it for years, oh wait that's Ingress the same app that Pokémon Go is based on. My bad... Guess a name change makes all the difference.

Maybe if the app didn't freeze up every time I go into a gym. Its a real resource hog.

the servers are so shit - missed out on catching mr mime today cause the app crashed and I couldn't relog :S

I found Ingress to be pretty boring when I tried it a while ago, but I'm not really in to AR games in general.

There's a park on a lake near my house with two Poke Stops, so I went down there with a friend at like 11PM and sat between them. I just farmed for like an hour with two lures, incense, and a lucky egg. Gained like 3 levels in 10 minutes.

It's literally the same fucking thing just walking around playing your damn DS. They just enhanced the game a bit. Also, I too would not like to find dead bodies (Yes, this happened in my city), get robbed, or hit by cars.
