No "New application" notification

I don't know if that's planned or not but:

I recently made a job. I received no notifications nor any email, but I just checked it manually and there were already 2 applications.

Just wanted to inform you. If you need any proof (but why?) I can give you some screenshots or so.

Same for me, have not been receiving any notification for some time from job applications. Though the job comments I do get notified of.

Go into your Settings section and ensure you have the correct notification options enabled:

As far as "popup notifications", They were removed because [from what Marcuz said] people were leaving too many instances of gmodstore/sf up in their browser, and causing high loads on the server-side with unnecessary calls.
