Lawless DarkRP - Searching for Co-Owner(Is)

Having played a lot of DarkRP, I realized that I don’t enjoy most servers unless they include Starfall or Expression 2 (Wiremod). That inspired me to start my own DarkRP server with custom features that I think could make the game mode more enjoyable — for me, and hopefully for others too.

My goal is to create a DarkRP server with minimal rules, focusing mainly on common-sense player behavior (e.g., no racism, toxicity, etc.). I already have a number of ideas I’d like to explore, but I’d much rather develop this server with others. I’m also very open to new suggestions.

Here’s a rough (and incomplete) outline of planned features:

1. Permanent houses/apartments (potentially rentable to give newcomers a fair start)
2. Crime system inspired by GTA (criminal actions increase your wanted level)
3. Randomized spawn points (to prevent NLR abuse)
4. Feature-rich jobs (if a job doesn’t have unique scripted abilities, it won’t exist)
5. No vehicles (smaller, dense maps with high property availability are preferred)
6. Dedicated building mode (separate from regular gameplay, so building doesn’t interfere)
7. …and more ideas to be fleshed out

The challenge is that I don’t currently have the time or experience to develop this server on my own. That’s why I’m looking for one or more co-owners who are interested in helping to build and maintain it. Ideally, you’d bring experience in one or more areas such as server management, Lua development, modeling, or mapping — but the most important thing is being motivated and eager to learn. This is a side project, so I don’t expect anyone to commit all their free time to it.

This is a hobby project — I don’t expect or aim for profit. My goal is simply to find like-minded co-owners who want to create a fun, engaging DarkRP experience for players.
