Denied: "Workshop Script", Advise?
I was wondering if it's possible to get any more insight into why the addon was denied, essentially what do I need to do to get it accepted?
The addon in question is my "Easy Donation System". It's pretty much the Custom Donation System but with some more features such as rank syncing and the ranks can be edited in-game and doesn't rely on ULX. The list price was $5 but starting with 50% off so $2.50.

I don't see anything in the "Things that your script should NOT contain" which are in my script. As far as the "lacks features and/or good selling points" goes, the selling point is that you don't have to have tonnes of ULX ranks(or any other CAMI supported admin mod). I feel like it has a decent amount of features, more than some other scripts being sold. The only thing I can see is that maybe my description needed breaking up a bit.
Make your derma custom
and maybe change your avatar :v
There's absolutely no reason to not make a custom UI these days. Not with all the methods available. No UI for gmod should be using the standard derma look and it just makes the developer seem like they are either not experienced, or lazy. So I'd suggest you look into creating a nice sleek custom UI. Not only the functionality is important, but the style is as well, because if I buy scripts on ScriptFodder, I don't buy ones that look like they've just been slapped together.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Although I can agree with this, it seems needless to create a pretty UI for something only a handful of people will see (Admins for example). Sure it does not take long but its not really any reason to make it custom other than presentation of the script.
I agree to that on some degree however a developer should strive for there product to look nice regardless of who's seeing it my opinion i'd rather buy something that looks athstetically pleasing as it looks more professional. Custom looking ui's arn't particularly hard to make once you have something in mind so why not make something look nice?
You want your code to look good even though most clients won't even see it.
Search 'donation system' on the site. That's what you need to match in both features and looks.
