deadass paypal told me not to open a new account when im over 18 as if they found out they'd close it.

It's almost like they have no clue on what their own terms are... as they clearly say its fine to you and they'll just unlock yours. wtf

I think its pretty ridiculous for them to close accounts that are of someone that is now of legal age.

I can understand underaged users using their system, that sounds like problems. But this is just dumb.

"paypal is the worst company in the world" - that is totally biased and unjustified. Lets see what happens without Paypal, its literally the back bone of internet. There is nothing that compares to it and there likely wont be anytime soon, you think Bitcoin has a chance(referencing your post from other thread where you suggest bitcoin)? Only reason Bitcoin still exists is because black market supports its existence - that should give you something to think about next time you trade with Bitcoin. Don't let me mention what a hassle it is to buy Bitcoins.

If anything Paypal has improved tremendously over the past years, I personally don't have anything to complain anymore. Even chargebacks are not that big of a problem. Paypal has bailed me multiple times and on some occasions I didn't even expect it they were like "here, we are sorry this happend to you. take our money and good luck". Just don't be an idiot and use common sense - you won't even need to read their TOS.

These threads bashing Paypal are getting annoying. TOS is their Law, you break it - its your own fault. Take some goddamn responsibility.

Minus the fact of they have issues here and there, either between API, or just regular services; I cannot really say they are horrible. Anytime I've had an issue, I've received help. They've even refunded me 90% of all the times I've been charged back and had to pay $20.00, they've given it back without really any troubles or harassment.

How did you get them to refund you? And are you talking you got the whole product price back or just the $20 fee?

The $20 fee gets reversed along with the payment itself yes.

Since payments are done through gmodstore n' shit if you have enough evidence (which is usually the purchases with downloads, along with the licenses n' shit) they'll cover you.

I would have had a huge ass fee debt on my ass cause of someone who mass chargebacked on me but paypal completely covered me afterwords. Mainly cause I called them and their support reps told me what to do to get covered (which was contact [email protected] and send the case ids there).
