Ya please try to find someone to take over the name and account possibly and continue. I would like to see half the legacy continue and not just give scripts away for free. This would benefit the gmod community.
I dunno. don't you think that there's a strong chance that whoever takes over the account is kind of a letdown and doesn't fulfill the expected quality of Blue's scripts?

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Lua, is in fact, GLua, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Garry's Mod Lua. Garry's Mod doesn't use Lua directly, but rather a modified version of a fully functioning scripting language to fit its own needs.

I was reffering to you calling it LUA, where you simply say Lua or gLua or whatever. But LUA isn't just the right way.

Just saw this. This saddens me quite a bit, to be honest. And only recently we just talked about future of the banking addon and possible approaches to it.

Well if someone good enough could that’s way better than releasing for free. As you see random people think that the idea of releasing scripts (Gaby, and the other person that thought my other post was dumb) for free is a good idea. It is isnt a good idea because the quality scripts people paid for will now be on every skids server and not be as cool. Keeping them disabled or putting it up to someone else to sell them is a better idea keeping some originality. This is my 2 sense on it don’t release it to skids for free let people pay for quality work or just keep it disabled I’m sure a lot other will agree with this.

Haha I could never live up to his skills I don’t think I’d be a good candidate. The only thing I could do is maintain and keep them bug free not release anything new as mine would look bad on his profile.
I feel shattered to see someone that has made Garry's Mod community such a great place to go.

I never said that the idea of not releasing them for free is stupid... I simply disagreed. I simply disagree that someone other than <CODE BLUE> is making money on the scripts he created.
I can understand that we do not have the same opinion, but it takes everything to make a world. You don't have to be angry, peace.

Just an update for everyone here, someone has be found and confirmed they would like to take over and maintain my scripts. Once I speak to Richard about getting the scripts transferred to a new account then they will be re-enabled, again thanks everyone for your support.
Hey, it's weird as fuck when you go on the gmodstore forum and you see a thread for something like this... I don't personally know you, never talk to you (I only know that we see the DRM approach as both different ways lmao) but I also know that you are very powerful in the Garry's Mod community - and I am saying this by seeing how much sales you grab when you put a script on the marketplace or simply by seeing how much the community is interested by your gLua leaning tutorials. I honestly don't understand why you are leaving GModstore - it's like yeah even myself sometimes I want to leave this kid community but oh god it's a way of earning some money we can't decline lmao. You should have warned a bit early, it sounds like a surprise for every customer you had.
If I was you I would have given access of my tickets to a talented content creator on gmodstore. By this way I would have make a cut percentage of something like 30-70 and everything in the future should be done by the content creator. You will earn money for the work you provided on the marketplace and someone will manage the tickets, supports and shit and he will be paid generously. I don't think that disable your scripts and stop providing supports to the long work you produced is a good idea, you should find another way....
Even if I don't know you as I said, thanks man - you were a lot on gmodstore and for the gmod community.
