Getting players on Jailbreak server
Hey guys, I've recently created a new jailbreak server and spend a few hours every day just sitting afk in the server to try and get players.
I've made some customizations such as custom perks, models and sweps in the pointshop as well as some general customization to the gamemode to make it stand out from the competition but I'm really struggling to get players to continue playing as well as join our discord. I'm wondering if you guys had any suggestions to help us get players on the server and keep them on the server.
I'd say join discords that allow advertising and just advertise yourself within community discords. Or maybe try networking with other servers asking requesting like a shoutout.
Thats Marketing, once you start to work on a project, start to record the process aswell. Then you can cut it up and publish it to social media (maybe even tiktok)
this will generate some traffic to your server... as long as you have the reach, or you're lucky and get a viral video.
Other things you could do is to go on to advertisement -forums, -discords, -reddits, etc.
Just keep in mind, servers in the serverbrowser all look the same, no one can tell how different your server is from the rest. So just please don't waste your time and hope for players randomly stumbling upon you. (while it does happen, it's pretty non existant)
