DFilm Production (SFM & In-Game Server Trailer)
DFIlm Production (SFM Trailers / Videos & Graphic Design)
Hi, we are here to the principle, short and to the point, that's why we're getting down to business! :D We are a group of people who enjoy creating animations and computer graphics, we have been doing this for several years. With each subsequent order, we become better, and we approach each client individually and try to meet their expectations by 110% Our first trailer was made in 2017, it was made entirely in Garry's mod (it looks weird from today, but we're not ashamed of it because everyone had some beginnings, and it shows how much we've grown!)
As in the topic, we offer all kinds of production in SFM, be it trailers or regular productions for fun. We also deal with 2D graphics and photo retouching. We have completed a total of over 40 different orders, and you will be able to see some of them in our portfolio, we have currently had a short break, so some of them may differ In the quality of workmanship. Some time ago we also created trailers in the commune, you will also see them in the portfolio.
Every single commission we price individually. There are many things that affect the final price like Duration, complexity, time spent on animating. The regular price is about 70$. The delivery time also depends on the thing above. Regularly it's about 7-14 days.

Thank you so much!
Good job, great work ! I recommend them !
Hey man, thank you for the recommendation
If anyone is wondering if we do addon showcases, then yes we're doing them.
Every new server needs a beautiful trailer. DM Us!
nah man, everyone who worked with sony vegas or something like that could do it in minutes.
I watched the trailer you made for the Star wars Server and its nothing special at all.
Something like that i could do in less then 1 hour if i got the clips and would do it for free perhaps.
Hello
Editing clip with music takes time, it is not "less then a hour or minutes"... recording also takes time, finding people to play in trailer also takes time, most of trailers don't have script and you have to think about it by you own, what takes time, when there's something what customers want to change, you need to change it, what also takes time + big scenes with a lot of players, we're recording with people who want to help, some of them want "something" for help (imagine when big scenes wont match with customer feels, and you need to change it, and again collect all that people). You see ready scenes + plans takes time.. like collecting people, organisation days and time, editing, finding music, thinking about script, editing clip, adding sounds, uploadning, changing scenes.
There is mainly one reason why I wouldn’t recommend and/or use services by myself from Snoopi:
Camera movement.
I know gmod is kinda ugly and you can’t make like 4K or even HD videos because of the old models n stuff, but a smooth camera movement is so important - that I really don’t like any of your trailers.
And don’t tell me that you can’t do it because there are even workshop tools for a smooth camera movement...
dm me when you can show me a smooth trailer - then I will consider it again.
We recently released, we do take your suggestion and improve. We wouldn't be any good if we didn't have people giving us suggestions so thank you so much!
Already saw that trailer, also shaky.
So since I work in film production IRL, here's my list of suggestions:
Here's a list of camera movements and settings one can or cannot use:
Static - Quite a big No-go in virtual cinematography, only recommend if you show a detail or add movement through camera shake (get a gmod addon for it, no post-shake or manual handshake) or by other means (let's say you have a point of interest that's interactive, like a small monitor, or a holograph popping up).
Slide / Dolly - Usually very good to introduce a new setting, you are using this kind of movement quite a lot, perhaps a bit to often. They must either be smooth or completely linear, jerked motions completely kill the effect of this setting.
Fluid Movement (IRL: Gimbal) - Get a smooth camera plugin and add movement to show action, let's say there's a big raid or something, by getting a camera with fluid motion close to action (eye's height etc.) you can create a spectator effect which catches the viewer way more.
Also in general, you're lacking details:
What I can recommend you for these trailers is a cut pattern between wide angle and detail shots. Wide angle to introduce the whole setting/location, but then go to the much more important details, close ups, actions etc. Wide angle shots become boring really fast.
Also, try out in-camera transitions, as in slide closely to a pillar so it covers the whole screen (preferably in a dark color) and then cut to another shot that continues the same movement, starting from another object. This will create an invisible cut, which is quite easy to do in Gmod.
If you want to get a cinematic look you're lacking the 2 most important factors:
1) Bokeh/DOF (Depth of Field) - Shots that have everything in focus are as boring as wide angles. Depth of field adds a whole new layer to your productions. However it also makes everything awfully more time consuming.
2) Lighting - I'll admit that lighting in virtual settings is very tough, but IRL, Lighting is about 50% of the films look, perhaps even more. By having different light colors hitting different objects you can add more depth to your images.
Perhaps add some graphics mods that can enhance shadows, model detail etc to clean up a bit.
Keep it going you have a lot of potential.
I haven't played Gmod in quite a while so I can't give you any addon recommendations, however they should be easy to find.
If you have questions, don't hesitate asking.
PS:
Thank you for the recommendations!
We are currently writing down what we did right and wrong. Everything you said is a no-go is noted, so what did we perfectly do?.
PS: I agree with
Thank you for the suggestions guys!
What you are doing correctly is (in my opinion) to find the right moment in the music, to make a scene change :)
Even though the music choice could be better ^^
Sometimes it feels like the music doesnt fit in that situation.
Am I the only one that is disappointed that the music wasnt Fortunate Son?
Ohh damn...
New Trailer -
Really cool trailer, I like the camera movements way better now.
Just one thing:
After the middle, the content quality seems to drop.
You are using first person shots which is a very good idea in this case, but I'd then go so far, as to disable any sort of huds (especially the chat) and maybe add first person enhancement addons to make it more immersive. Also smooth camera should be a thing there (I dont know if this is possible with weapons in your hand).
Other than that, quite nice, maybe add more detail shots (close-ups) but otherwise it's good
