Where do you come up with your script ideas?
I've been sitting still for about an hour trying to come up with something decent that won't be denied. What do you think about when trying to come up with an idea? What's your process of brainstorming?
I just get ideas randomly. Usually it happens like this. "Huh, I wish something like X existed, it'd make Y so much easier. Oh wait."
I ask people, I wouldn't ask publicly though especially if you wanna sell something on this site.
I read books, watch movies and television, and just do creative things. I've found when you expand your horizons and watch a wide variety of things you'll get ideas easier, or get inspiration from something you've encountered.
'something decent that won't be denieded' - I'm sorry but I gotta call you out on that.
It's foolish to think the ideas are being denied rather than their outcome - even the stupiest idea (cough kissing mod cough) will go through, as long as it's written properly.
(only for UI im not a lua god) I usually get inspiration from Google's material design along with looking / going to design competitions and other coding tournament / competition things. Along with trying to work / help out as many people as I can on their UI, it makes me a better developer in the end
