God, if people would follow this rule id have like 50% of sales that I have now.

Basically, if you are sure it will not spread, some Dev will take it, sure. If there is a case of theft we have no way to verify it was indeed your friend and not you who have leaked it, which then can result in loss of the add-on or temporary/perminant restriction to your gmodstore account.

People do this all the time, tho. Some of them do have accidents like these.

So this is a risk you have to weigh in, how trustworthy your co-owner is.

I am with this community, I have spent hundreds of $$ here, and I know the owner like 3 years already, and that's how long I have been a team member in his community, needless to say, you probably are breaking license rules by putting it on your buddies server, but no one really cares as long as it is one person/server you share with, and it doesn't get leaked. If it gets leaked - your info is in there. We can check whose copy it is, in rare cases - we don't. But if it gets leaked, or used on... few servers with no connection (aka different network names) - then it's YOU who's gonna get banned, not your friend that put it on some leak website, not his dog who uploaded it to mediafire - it's gonna be you, it's your responsibility to secure the files.
