does anyone like fadmin more that ulx or xAdmin

No, FAdmin is a terrible admin tool but of course it is better than having no administration tools on your server. I've never used xAdmin as it's paid and it seems geared towards DarkRP servers so I don't have a use for it in my gamemodes.

FAdmin is difficult and unclear. It's also not recommend to use that admin system. The best admin systems are the paid one.

But there are more free alternatives to ULX and FAdmin

1. xAdmin (free version = no extras like the paid one got)
2. Moderator
3. AssMod
4. Evolve
5. Maestro

Not always, a lot of the paid admin mods aren't great and have security flaws. I'd just recommend either ULX or the free xAdmin. ULX is good for server owners who want control with staff that aren't capable of doing things without clicky buttons, free xAdmin is a great alternative for ULX for bigger servers that might benefit from using something more stripped down with the bare minimum amount of features they need.

I use ULX and really never use the menu expect for unbanning people. All other things I’ll do with chat commands.

You should take a look at my xAdmin then :P

ulx has a lot of hacks for it where as xAdmin is updated regularly with patches to stop them.

my friend had rcon access with ulx as user rank

and he could make himself superadmin

This is only your fault. RCON is like the highest instance and when you give it to your friend it’s like giving him access to the server console. This is not a hack and not a backdoor, it’s a function that is used mainly by server owners, ...

Edit: I think you did something wrong with setting up the permissions. Or he had access to give permissions earlier and he ran ulx userallow. It could also be this

no i didn't it was a hack genuinely i reset ulx twice and reset the server and ended up changing to xadmin and it fixed it.

There are a lot of servers using ULX (including mine). And they are not hacked.

Sorry to say it like that but it’s the same as running a dedicated server with no knowledge and asking yourself why your server is in a botnet. When you are new to Linux/Windows don’t run a public server. You will get fucked and you are responsible because you don’t know how to make a server secure. The first thing you would do is learning how to handle/manage something like that. And that’s the same as in GMOD. If you don’t know how to use ULX or any other addon that handles important things like permissions don’t use it on a public/crowded server. Because some will come on your server and will do these things that you complained about.

To say it again: A lot of servers use ULX and they are secure.
