[SF] Feature Suggestions ( Colaborations )

Last read Never
#1

Hello, I have only joined the market recently and i find that i want to work with other developers to create nice scripts! However we're limited by the fact that we cannot easily distribute the sales between us without making a separate paypal to our personal ones. This is kinda frustrating as it could help people who specialize in say modeling, get into the market! I think it could also help people create groups that can pump out really nice scripts that are high quality of which they can take in multiple ideas and work on them!

Thanks for reading! Chad Masters

No idea who you are, or why any of us should trust you. You haven't posted any work you've done, nor your ability to do anything in Lua.

Not going to just go off your word.

Hey Nookyava, Why do you need to trust me when all im doing is proposing a suggestion? If you read it properly i said that i cannot easily distribute sales between developers. Therefore why would you need to trust me? I am not asking for collaborators, im asking for a feature on SF to split payments between collaborators!

Thanks, Chad Masters

Stop signing your posts, we can see your name.

You have no ability to show your experience, thus why would anyone want to work with you? The trust also comes into play on if they can trust you with money, seeing as it needs to be divided.

I read it properly, don't worry.

That doesn't make a difference. There are plenty of ways to secure it, for example all the developers involved have to accept the percentages for it to happen else they plan it out again! This isn't anything to do with me Nookyava, its to do with developers who have talked previously about it.

It is kinda silly to think that you'd need "experience" to share the sales of a script with developers you've already worked with to make the script. You can be new to the market yet you join on a project with consent of the developers involved! If they didn't trust you, you wouldn't have made the script and talked about split sales!

You just stated

I'm not going to continue arguing this. You would need experience to get anyone worthwhile as a partner in development, not to mention your % split plan would have to be decided before-hand, but when you can't trust the people you're with because they have no history on the site, it makes it a riskier involvement. Besides, someone has to get the money first.

First off signing your posts is stupid, secondly:

There are tons of modellers selling their scripts and there was one team so far called CustomHQ. They already said it before they're not making a system to split the money cause chargebacks would go through them, you should read previous threads before asking this also there is a Mega Thread for suggestions.

So much hate also does he mean by 2 people paying for 1 script or what do you mean by this it almost sounds like a good idea

It was a simple suggestion nothing more. It could have been declined without hostility! And i dont appreciate the insults on a personal preference to stay formal, it isn't hurting you so please refrain from unnecessary remarks!

Summer i meant that when a dev uploads a script, they are able to choose whether it was a group project and are able to split the sales between them through the website itself. Allowing for multiple devs to work on a singular project together.

Thanks, Chad Masters

It seems your OP was a bit confusing, as it seemed like YOU were searching for collaborators to sell scripts.

This feature has already been discussed and is a possibility with the new way we plan on doing our chained payments.
