Where to learn lua ?

Learn by doing. Look up the basics (CodeBlue tutorials etc.) and then try it yourself. Look up for functions which might serve your needs and try to build simple scripts.

Also have someone experienced to tell you if you're doing something wrong.

I know this guy named Jake, and he makes these awesome lightsabers animations and he once told someone. Just work on it for 1 hour a day, first dissecting old addons and using Google to your advantage. Then start making small scripts. Iv made a small VGUI script for Star Wars and it went pretty well. Then ask a pro for some help on config and what not to use in scripts, cause some people are real picky with their variables and functions and if you use the wrong one you could get yelled at ;) not really. I promise if you start doing good you will get hooked.
