Crident or NFOServers or an Dedicated Root Server?
Hey guys... which server i should take for an darkrp server with over 30-40 users? without laggs(with optimized files)
Crident : Location: EU/UK Pro Dedicated IP: Yes Development Server: No Performance Boost: Yes
NFO(VIRUTAL MACHINE):
Or This Dedicated root server?
the server is gonna be an german server. thanks
Go with GMCHosting, they have game servers in France I believe and have the best protection overall

nah had much problems with gmc
GMChosting is actually pretty good
Not sure what warranted another thread.
"(with optimized files)" I don't think anybody knows what that means.
Also why are you comparing dedicated servers with non dedicated? Decide which one you want to opt for. Honestly given you want 30-40 players you probably don't need a dedicated server, a host like GMC or Crident will be sufficient, from what I know they use i7's and single threaded / core performance is key with GMod hosting. Don't have 100 addons that have stupid code too, that will help performance.
Although I've never used Crident a 40 slot Crident server is £14.40 a month, just try a host before you waste time that is worth more than the server cost lol.
Note: The top two GMod communities use GMC so I wonder if they are the problem...

Crident has access to GMC hosting's DDoS mitigation on our pro location - both companies are partnered. Generally, GMC targets US communities, too. If you're EU based - our support is probably better suited for the task.
Typically though, I'd advise against getting a dedi unless you really have a reason to have one (more than 2-3 servers or an already established community)
Ultimately our pro location pretty much provides you with the best performance you can get out of your server - including addons and configuration. So if you've got inefficient/laggy addons; you'll still have issues.

Then go straight to the source with OVH, pretty much the same thing.
Slightly off topic - but this isn't true information. GMC's filtering is something OVH doesn't offer, nor can they currently offer it.
nfo is trash go with gmc or crident
Shouldn't this be in off topic, also anyone got any discount codes for the mentioned hosts ?? :^) :^)
so im gonna host like 2-3 servers like darkrp ttt starwarsrp a

Make your mind up, nobody can help you if you randomly introduce more information like it's a movie plot twist.
Please know what you want before asking for help, we can give advice based on what we KNOW, nobody has a crystal ball that reveals the unseen details of what you want in your head (that I know of)
🤔
MC-64-OC from OVH's GAME dedicated servers is best :)

It's not secret GMC and Crident use OVH as an "IaaS" in the literal sense, after all; that's what they want to be. A small a2s get challenge attack would drop OVH normally though - and a2s is the oldest form of layer 7 attack on the source engine. GMC and Crident resolve these issues, but also provide support which is something that's probably valuable to someone who doesn't even know what they want
My personal opinion assuming you consider GMC completely off the roster would be the following...
Crident due to the obvious reasons of:
- DDoS mitigation
- Good support
- Good panel
- Convenient location for you
NFO is a decent pick, but in my opinion not quite up to par with GMC/Crident. (Assuming GMC was on the roster, I would place it as your best option)
NFO = Overexpensive but it's my personal preference. OVH = DDoS mitigation isn't that great. GMC = DDoS mitigation is great but support is absolute shit Crident = Very cheap, DDoS mitigation is great, and support is great.
Go with Crident.

Crident is just LIDL GMC
Go with Crident. If you want GMC servers with bad support
