ScriptEnforcer Closing - Must Read (NOT ScriptFodder)

idk why, the dude's right SE is a 2-5 hour job lmao

I can confirm, took me less than a day of work to actually get it working for Phoenix back when it was just for his own scripts. Then he decided to expand and the most tedious thing was PayPal.

And annoying your customers by not giving them a fully working product, even if it's temporary is dumb.

The payment systems always suck to do.

It's been over 9 hours, where is the github? Yeah, just as I thought, full of words.

What is your problem? I didn't say I was making it, I said if I wanted too.

But you made it sound so "easy" so it should be no issue for you.

I didn't come here to forum flaming over something as "If I wanted to". I was just pointing out how simple the system would be to make yourself and that it wouldn't take long at all if you had the time.

I came here to put my opinion out on a subject that's being made a big deal out of when we all could easily live without a DRM for a while, and that we could all wait for the hopefully better securegmod DRM until then. It's not the end of the world people, we can survive without a DRM for a while.

Edited What really sucks is that people lost their money. Has anyone got any of their money back for this month?

What ticks me off is that people like you would always come along when ScriptEnforcer "was" working and claimed it was shit and they could make something better yet no one else did, but now we will soon have an alternative in a few days I think.

I have a PayPal dispute open with him at the moment.

I didn't mean to come off as if I could make something better. SE was simple it worked to an extent. Anyone who didn't know how to code the system would work just fine for the everyday user. Because it was easy to crack is why I didn't want to waste my money on it.

It's SecureGMod and not GModSecure! Stop it!

Anyways, testing is going live soon for ScriptFodder. Extremely early public testing is going live soon after that to some undetermined people.

Who started this garrysmod DRM craze, anyway? First thing that comes to my mind is the Aritz's ArcLoad. Can't remember anything prior to that.

I see. I know Aritz system was active prior to that, tho. Thats what inspired me to create my own.

Even people who had nothing to do with SE were affected. People trust ScriptFodder a little by less now, even if the two parties were unafficliated. My sales ever since the closing prove that. My admin panel shows around 5% decline of VCMod ussage on average since, aswel, I am guessing some people do not bother with their servers because of half of their purchases not working.

Thanks again, Phoenix.

Kuro was still the first to add drm to gmod
