Some good specs

After doing some digging around I figured out my tower is a bit outdated now and I got the cash to upgrade it, I just don't wanna over-do it.

Basically we got med-end specs cause my Power supply was about 350 Watts (so that's 16gigs of ram, 2 gigs of GPU (GTX 750ti), a stock AMD Quad-core (it's gonna die pretty soon cause it's been having issues) and then a basic Asus motherboard that came with the PC it self when we bought it.

Price spending range for some new shit is only about $200-MAYBE $300. I don't really wanna put too much into it cause I use all the "hard-high end games" on consoles most of the time.

Also I decline to use Intel what so ever.

I'm not looking for a whole PC I can live with my GTX 750 graphics. But I definitely need to swap my CPU cause that shit is de_dead.

Why would you not use intel? Granted you wont get any really good intel processor for your price, but in terms of amd vs intel, intel is pretty much better in every regard.

Pls Intel is expensive bollocks. AMD is bang for your buck. The more money you put in, the better that comes out.

If you wanna spend most your money on a nice CPU, check out the FX series from AMD. They are usually octo core and are really good. Cheaper than an i7 and you'll still get great performance. Id check to see if your mobo is compatible with said CPU.

AMD CPUs are cheaper but got terrible singlecore performance

I'm still using a 5 year old CPU I got when I first built this thing.

The CPU, the Motherboard, and the HDD are the only things still remaining from said build.

I'm lazy.

AMD's are better when you're on a budget, obviously because their cheaper, so there the way to go for you, but intel are much much better when you want something that will run smoothly. I dont get why you wouldnt want to use intel at all?

Intel CPUs are alright in some aspects. The only time I would ever get an Intel CPU is for rendering. Their Xeon E3 and E5 chipsets are amazing but they work better when doubled up and are flipping expensive. But the AMD FX series will last you a long ass time. And tbh there are hardly any games that use one CPU aside from gmod. All games use at least 2+

Intel wins in almost all of the comparisons between the 2. Lol.

I decline to use intel cause some games now reject their authentication or whatever the fuck it is so I had to completely throw my old PC out.

I used AMD cause it was a standard performance CPU with a non-budgeted price and it works to perfection but I accidentally left it on when a massive heat wave came and it started over-heating now it's faulty.

That CPU was alright it worked for everything but they have better ones I'm aware of.
