My sh*t script (Need Help)

I'am still learning lua and i cbf wasting money on help for this simple script.

I need some examples on how messages are sent and received like how "/request" works and adding darkRP teams to the mix.

My design is simple. I am creating a EMS menu that allows the player to type /sos and a menu pops up and then you can send a message to the police/whatever telling them whats happening, then an option pops up asking if they wish to accept the request ( With the message ) then an icon/distance pops up on the player who sent the request.

I got all the menu's done but they're useless without teams or actual functions... also need an example for HUD drawing on player info.

Side notes: I can only code html website shiez and gmod is like a new beginning to me. so be gentle :O

also i've looked everywhere on this site for help: http://wiki.darkrp.com/index.php/Main_Page and http://wiki.garrysmod.com

And i've been using DarkRP_Modules for the files because "lazy" and saves me from doing AddCSLuaFile() (so some functions may not work ) Sorry for all the edits

Make a file called triple0. Put this file chain inside triple0: lua > autorun. Copy and paste the contents into a file inside 'autorun' called 'shared.lua' https://hastebin.com/resujihaqa.lua

It is shit, but it includes the option of if they want to accept/deny, shows requester's location and its simple enough. I commented some key parts that you were looking for.

If you cbf to spend money for help, you're better off posting a thread on Facepunch
