"I've purchased a script but I still don't have it!" & other PayPal issues

I've seen a lot of these reports come through as of late and let me start off by first stating that this is the result of the PayPal API. It's terrible and has issues daily, if not hourly. Sometimes purchases go through without problems and other times you may have purchased a script and not received it a week later. So here are a few things to keep in mind.

Do not repurchase a script if access is not granted immediately

If you've purchased a script - do not repurchase it. It does not help speed up the process and may result in you still not getting the script. This means you'll have paid twice for a product you're still waiting on. Then you're at the mercy of the developer to refund you (which they should and we'll make them, but if they're not responding then it becomes a difficult task).

Just be patient and contact the developer requesting they manually grant you access to the script, and if enough time has passed (3-5 business days) then feel free to contact a staff member or email [email protected]. Just make sure you're providing the ID of the transaction as well as your email.

PayPal API may be delayed

If you purchased a script without it giving you download access please wait a few hours before contacting the developer. Sometimes it may just be queued up but is taking its sweet time before it's sent over to us. I'd say at 2-3 hours is a safe amount of time to wait until you contact the developer.

This is not their full time job

Please keep in mind that GmodStore is NOT the developer's full time job, nor are they employed by us. They earn per script sold and they do so on their own free time. This means that they do in fact have lives so even if they were seen as "active" on the site, that does not mean they're ignoring you. For example they could be pulling the site up on their phones to check a few things, or may only have a few minutes to hop on. Just be patient and if enough time (again, 3-5 business days) have passed then contact a staff member or email [email protected].

What if my issue is that I cannot purchase the script at all!?

A few reports have filtered in about this as well. If you're getting an error when purchasing the script there's a few things you need to make sure are in order first.

Starting off make sure that you have in your PayPal account a USD balance, enough to cover the script and then some in case there is VAT. Some people have their bank accounts linked and try to purchase doing that, this does not always work. However if all else fails do keep in mind that you can contact the developer directly and offer to pay them for the script if this fails. We'd prefer you do it through the site for the protection we offer but we also want to make sure you can purchase what you want.

General FAQ

1. What if the developer hasn't been online in a few weeks or more?
2. The same rule still applies. Try to get a hold of them and once that's failed escalate it.
3. The developer has denied my access! What do I do!?
4. In the odd case that the developer has denied your request for access even after providing all cases of you purchasing it then do escalate the ticket. Provided you've purchased the right script that you're requesting access for we will intervene.
