Net_Graph
What does a healthy net_graph look like for a ttt server? I've been having problems keeping my TTT server stable, and I've been getting a lot of choke. I've got a screenshot of the Net_Graph 5 for anyone that feels like they would be able to help.
I'd say anything over 5 choke or loss isn't good. Optimally your server shouldn't have any choke, the less the better.
Edit: Also TTT isn't a very intensive gamemode. You should ask your host if there's a problem with their machine or network. If not, they should look into dedicating more resources.
I've checked with my ISP and they "say" theres no network issues, not sure about machine though, but before I do, are there any like obvious things that would create choke on a server? I'm talking when a discombob goes off ~50 choke.
Do you know your system specifications?
Either: Intel Xeon 5520
64GB RAM
2x 1TB SATA Drives in RAID
1000Mbps Port
OR: Intel Xeon E3-1270v5
64GB RAM
2x 1TB SATA Drives in RAID
1000Mbps Port
The Intel Xeon 5520 would not be able to run Garry's Mod servers well. I'd say if you are working with the Xeon 5520, that is the issue. If you are working with the E3 it should be perfectly fine. Try to see which resources are being used the most. On most systems you can get an analysis per core on CPU usage. You'd have to find the core running your server as SRCDS runs on a single core. As for the network, 1Gbps is plenty. Also 64 GBs of RAM wouldn't be causing this issue either.
Thanks for your help, still have 0 clue lol

Status update: I was able to find the Processor, it is the E3, and whenever the choke spikes happen the cpu's usage is only going up to 10.7% out of an allotted 25% for us. The server also isn't at a constant high choke. There are times when its at a flat 0 and things run smooth, but randomly it'll spike up to 30% sometimes even 50% choke. I look in the console both client and serverside, and get no errors. Any ideas on what it could be if not the machine?
