Moving Forward

After recent events we decided to look at Gmodstore as a whole, we’ve realized that our communication skills are not up to par. Our current response times to tickets, reports, submissions, and overall treatment of customers has been less than desirable and not up to expectations. With that being said, we want to bring more transparency to you as a whole. We plan on changing management-wise with upcoming site features, and more.

Relating to management, we’re adding a utility role to our team, called “Submission Curator”. For quite some time Moderators have been dealing with the majority of Gmodstore as a whole. With this new role we’ll have specialized curators who will only be handling what’s going on directly relating to our web store. Moderators will have more time to handle customer and potential creator related issues. Currently the Submission Curator team includes: kanalumaddela, and Threebow.

To facilitate communication about what features and events are upcoming, we will be adding a new roadmap feature that will give you a detailed look into the future of Gmodstore and what is yet to come.

Our current “internal” roadmap includes:

1. Quick replies (variables like {{ user.name }})
2. Seamless Gitlab / Github integration for addon updates (Content Creator)
3. Personal (manageable?) block lists
4. Block reasons
5. Downloaded version on purchase tab (Moderator)
6. Alpha/Beta updates
7. Finish username/password logins
8. Add job reputation giving
9. Finish job middle man system w/payment
