What's the worst thing that can happen from buying addons from here?

So, just a curious question, what's the worst thing that can happen from a addon that I buy on here and add to my server? This won't include the addon having bad ratings, high or low price, or the creator being a scammer and not giving it. More of, what more harm can they do with these scripts beside not giving it or making a leak in my server. Or is it all they can do is not give it, make it leak or able to give themselves superadmin from just joining?

1. Creators can't be scamming because you pay with paypal and it is automatic.
2. They can't make a leak in your server
3. They can add a DRM to make sure it doesn't get leaked (most DRMs are made clear in the script page)
4. They can't give themselves superadmin unless 1. you give it to them 2. the are malicious and release a malicious update but that would get them banned from gmodstore if reported using the big red report button on a script page.

Edited Example for the 3rd point (Billy's bWhitelist Script) On the bottom of the page do make sure you read all of it.

Also the can use libgmodstore which is a tool to give you support for your script but you need to generate a key or something for the person giving you support to put it in a website and get console logs

Nothing really bad can happen here since scriptenforcer is not used anymore.

However, you get one of the fastest in the world tech support and it's not handled by Indians (Unless Luna handle it, because Luna is indian).

You directly got the support from the dev, your problem get fixed faster

Yeah, nothing bad can happen. All scripts are tested by Content Curators to ensure they don't have any backdoors, I don't think the DRM can really cause any mischief, however it may be a little annoying not being able to edit serverside code.

You should also get support when purchasing a script, if there's a lack of support, the script will be disabled (unless specified no support will be given). Developers usually offer support to their clients so you shouldn't be too worried.

The worst thing yet is to

1. Own a leaking website
2. Decide to buy an addon
3. Leak it on your website
4. you actually live like 3km away from the guy who made the addon
5. the gendarmerie raid your house
6. your PC is seized
7. they find ton of illegal shit on your computer
8. you need to pay a fine

could be based on a tru() story, who knows

Just saying, but you can encrypt client side files with securegmod.

buyers remorse, buying an addon that you later realized is unneeded. shopping spree, buying lots of addons that you don't need. there's a money wasted thread where some people are showing how much they spent here.
