Hi everyone, another year and I've gotten bored and made another loading screen (sorry everyone, I really have nothing better to do :Z)

Anyway it's a splatoon 2 themed one but I've re-jiggled a lot of the code snippets I share between my loading screens so I'm not really sure if it actually works properly.

Anyway TL;DR I need someone to set my new load screen as their sv_loadingurl so I can do some tests to see if my stuff actually works.

If you have CSS media queries, flexbox, any new CSS features, it'll break in gmod. Just setup a local dev server and in reality by the time you've made enough, you'll know whether or not it works.

I've found that if stuff works in the steam browser, it normally tends to work on gmod (dodgy versions of webkit being used across the board by everyone really). I avoid using media queries, I don't like making websites 3 times.

I'm also old school now and don't know what the heck flexbox is :Z. I just make everything fixed widths so I probably won't run into many CSS problems. It's mostly a test on the loading bar stuff because that seems to be the biggest complaint with that shit breaking for a few people.

Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone who helped me out by letting me connect to their dev servers with it set as the loading url. I'm now done working on it and the loading screen is now being uploaded onto the store :)
