Call them and tell them it's Digital goods.
Doesn't matter they support digital goods.

Doesn't matter they support digital goods.
If you tell them your product is Digital goods and it is updated and works fine with support they will deny the case.
I've done this with a job, someone tried to charge me back and I explained to paypal it was Digital goods and the product was not damaged in anyway.
PayPal Buyer Protection now covers digital goods
Same guy did it to me.
Only in the EU, maybe?
Digital goods argument doesn't work in New Zealand/Australia either.

20USD paid so some little rat kid can save 3.50 on his shitty server, ridiculous.
Hey Guys,
I'm in the same boat. This exact user did a chargeback on one of our teams scripts, same info above Scott Oliver, ([email protected]). I cant believe people can get away with it in the UK. After a long chat with PayPal, the representative said 9 times out of 10, this case looks as if a son (or daughter) has used their parents credit/debit card on their PayPal account. How lovely :(
I mentioned how hard developers work on their code only to have it stolen, downloaded, used then initiate a chargeback including a $20 charge slapped onto the account. The representative did feel sorry for all the developers out there, but stresses that if it has happened to more than one person - Do drop them an email or phone them stating that it has happened to at least X number of developers. Reason being is if enough content creators get their point across throught to PayPal (who then feed this info to the financial instituion), the PayPal account can possibly be suspended/limited and people can get their money back after the 2-3 month waiting period as its clearly the parents fault for letting them use their PayPal account (or telling them the password). They stated that if only one of us puts our point across, its more than likely the card issuer/bank instutation would go into the buyers favour. We've got to win this battle with these kids!
Kind Regards, Connor
Paypal dont give refunds for digital goods? Some idiot also tried charging back on my server yet failed due to this, call paypal and tell them.
