Scripts that are no longer supported

Hello scriptfodder.

I wonder how people are still able to sell their scripts they no longer support at all. For instance "Rocketmania" I created a ticket on 04/04/2016

Still no response all his scripts are full of comments. For example:

  1. Hi I created a ticket long ago no response.
  2. Is this still supported?
  3. Does it still work?

There's no response what so ever to get from him, I bought some other scripts I have the same issue with eventho I will give the developer of those abit more time before including him here.

But this is highly unprofessional and scripts that are no longer supported shouldn't be sold.

Use the report button on the addon page.

After 3-4 months i stop adding features on my addons, i just make fixes when it's required.

I'd "refund" Rockets' scripts if I where you. (Use paypals' dispute, not charge back)

I don't wanna refund because the script works to some extent, but when I go to them and say "hey I mySQL is broken and you should change to tmsql4 from mysqloo ( mysqloo is bad compared to tmsq14 ). But they don't answer or anything and the comment section is full of comments saying ( script is unsported etc ), I don't think people should be able to have a developer subscription if they're not supporting tickets on their scripts.

Then they're scripts should either be moved into its own section called ( no longer supported scripts but you can buy them ) or just remove them from SF.

That's why you do your research before purchasing a script. While a developer should support his script it's also your duty as a buyer to check out what's wrong with the script beforehand.

A whole other section dedicated to nonsupported scripts would just be drama anyway, as people would deny our claims and become a huge fight.

Before developers had to support their scripts and fix errors. This should still be the case and if they fail to do so they should have their script disabled.

If a script doesn't work and the author won't fix it then it should be removed - simple as that. It's too bad the staff have been too soft on Rocketmania.
