SteamAcc hacked, what to do?
hey. i wanted to let you know that my steam acc was hacked today 2nd time, after the first time i changed my emailadress, my password, added steamguard (another phone number of mine) and so on. i got hacked again... now my question, what can i do? i contacted the support a few minutes ago, i also dont want that some fucking retard do any shit on me / SF and so on. the first time he rejected all of my friends, now he suspended my account as "account holder" (and he is not). what i know is that its a russian guy because i had a russian "friend" straight after my first unban, i had similar name like this idiot had. i also got a friend request of fucking russian retards. (sorry if i rage so hard but im pissed as fuck) pls reply only if you understand and give REAL informations and not "do that" (what i already did)
In all the years I have used Steam I never got hacked. Maybe it's a good idea to use a stronger password since he managed to hack it another time. Also the Steam Guard should protect you easily since you cannot bruteforce it as far as I know.
well, the hacker did it twice at all (in ~10 hours) and my password is not that simple. but the next one i will make really hard, if he will hack it again i dont know what to do then :-/ but my steamguard is active, i also cant use it now anymore. "the account was suspended by the account holder. to release it, check the code in the email" (and i only got a mail that "i" suspended my account) no code, nothing
never have the same password as you do on other sites, there is something called leaksource that is where all the skids (like cheater.team) get your info.
My info is leaked, anyone you can think of has some leaked info, that's why I change passwords often and make them more than 32 characters long with special characters and numbers.
Mobile auth is only good if you use a personal number not a public one, people find public ones that people use and play csgo or something with cheats on to vac them, there are videos about it everywhere.
