Refunded the wrong person + refunded the guy I was trying to refund twice.

Someone asked for a refund, and I misclicked their name and gave the refund to someone else. Can't correct that since the refund went through and I'm already contacting that guy I accidently refunded. I then sent the refund to the original person I was trying to refund and I think he got it twice since I refunded him on scriptfodder and refunded him on paypal.

This is the image on paypal. I just want to make sure that this doesn't mean it's a double refund, if that's even possible.

Then let it be a bug report. Bug report being it's possible to refund someone on the same script twice.

Contact paypal. This doesn't really have anything to do with Scriptfodder besides the fact that you refunded another customers script. You could use some leverage and tell him if he doesn't send the money back, you will revoke his access to the script. Just my opinion =)

pewdiepie is right you refunded him in both places which was p dumb

Because I thought the refund button was a check to say that this user was refunded, much like how revoke works.

I also must ask why are you giving me the option to refund him in both places. Refunding him on paypal does the same thing as scriptfodder, so I don't understand why I was somehow able to do it twice.

I don't understand how this is entirely my fault. Yes, if I didn't click the refund button this wouldn't have happened. Much like if Scriptfodder handled the refund like a refund instead of a transaction, then this wouldn't have happened either.

Refunding is an option on ScriptFodder so that the customer gets the full amount, VAT and SF commission included, rather than just your cut. ScriptFodder has no ability to disable the PayPal refund button.

I refunded them on paypal first, then I refunded them on scriptfodder.

I'm complaining that it's possible to double refund after an official refund on paypal went through.

Well that's because the PayPal refund is not the full amount as it does not include VAT and SF commission and is therefore only a prorated refund.

We don't have any control over what the refund button does, if it double refunds due to it already being refunded in another way then that's a problem with PayPal, it shouldn't refund a transaction that was already refunded

Edited Moderators now have the ability to refund specific cuts, so if a chargeback happens they can refund everything to you
