Then say that, it's called a "usergroup". Make a script and if it gets accepted, then it'll change :)

You can't have a custom one (the tag on the gmodstore forums). You can only have User, content creator, content curator and some admin ones I think.

Content Creators are basically developers (you need to have an active script) and Content Curators are moderators, they accept/deny scripts and respond to reports.

I'm pretty sure that you wont become one anytime soon. You need to be a very good dev, well-known in the Gmod Community and you should have a decent reputation

The nooky bestows curator status upon you with one flick of his magic community manager wand, if and when he sees fit.

Having a tag isn't what will make you professional. There are a lot of "Content Creators / devs" on here who do some masterful work, and don't really get recognized, and there are some other Content Creators who released a 5 minute HUD and somehow it got accepted and they gained the tag. Your worth comes from reputation and your ability to play an active part in the gmod community or doing something that sticks out.

Build sweet UI libraries like threebow, make a cool-ass addon that goes outside the box like freeman, Lapin made a tool to get people to make darkrp jobs on their own, Marcuz made a top-selling donation system, Orbitus is our neighborhood leak catcher, Trixter brought gmod and discord together, Billy made a logging system that does any and all, Codeblue took certain activities to the next level with slots, growing farms, etc., the list goes on and on with 20+ others. And the reason I mention them? They stand out, not by a tag, but what they do.

I agree, I guess I'm going to have to figure something out that is a bit more advance than just throwing a hud together, thanks!

I really like your optimism, some people don't understand you enthusiasm (Sometimes, maybe in 80% of your threads, a bit too much 😂😅) but I really like it. However to get there you need to start somewhere, right now you wanna do a lot, but don't start learning things. As soon as I am home, I wanna help you creating a script. I am defenitely not a top-tier developer, but I also started like you did. Maybe in a couple of months we/you have an addon on the Marketplace!

If you are eager to learn I am sure you'll be able to gain a better reputation within the community. Just don't be too enthusiast, it can sometimes come across as immature, I don't mean to be rude but the older/mature guys here can misunderstand your intentions.

I do love your posts though, I like having an active forum, hahaha.

I'm average and you helping me get better would be amazing. I understand I'm a bet too enthusiastic with a little sarcasm but I'm also looking forward to talking to you when you come back from your holiday. Also be sure to expect alot of posts from me haha
