Updates to the payment model

yeah, it's not automaticyetMatt set my commission rate to 8% initially and after talking to Marcuz about it it got reduced to 5%.Matt said there's not a criteria yet but Marcuz told me this:Your commission rate would get set every month based on your previous month's earnings and the criteria is< $250 - 10%< $500 - 9%< $750 - 8%< $1,000 - 7%< $1,250 - 6%< $1,500 - 5%not really sure why they'd release the update if the commissions aren't automatic and there's no agreed criteria, but whatever
Are commissions being taken from total revenue generated each month or by the percentage of each transaction conducted. IE Listing Price - 3.9% +0.30 USD (Paypal) - 10% of listing price (Scriptfodder). OR Sell $100 - 10% commission?
Lots of numbers, got me confused.
It's taken like
$10 + $2.5 VAT. First PayPal takes 3.9% + 0.30 USD of that $12.5 and then ScriptFodder takes $2.5.
Yes you pay a little bit more to PayPal than you're supposed to but they cant do it otherwise due to PayPals API being shit
So if you make $250 or more dependent on whats in Billys post that scriptfodder take is variable for the next month?
I assume so, yes.
Matt has an idea that might reduce PayPal fees drastically, we'll let you know how it's gonna work if our idea even works correctly. The current way isn't good enough that's for certain.
At the start of next month some time. Don't take my word for it though, next update will take a while to finish.

So what are the exact thresholds for the commission rate? Are the above numbers correct?
yeah
< $250 - 10% < $500 - 9% < $750 - 8%
Is it like 600$ = 8% or 600$ = 9%?

There's a reason there's < sign next to it.
< $500 means $500 or higher. You can look at it with programming logic too.
if ($earnings<500) { 8% } else { continue }
Thats contradictory. Your first declaration would be 9% for 500$-750$. The code would be 8% for 493$.
your earnings from the previous month set your commission rate for the current month - you don't pay certain taxes on the thresholds.
