I want to start learning how to make addons to gmod but I cant find any tutorial in the internet (I know how to code in lua)

How... there's literally thousands upon thousands of tutorials on youtube and even the gmod wiki has tutorials on it...

Wait you know how to "code in lua" but you dont know how to make addons? Wowww...

  1. Think of the purpose for the addon.
  2. Create the folder and file structure.
  3. Write an autorun file. (Autoloads all files associated with the script, and what goes where such as SERVER or CLIENT execution) along with any other functionality you'll need.
  4. Code the Lua for your addon.
  5. Integrate DRM
  6. Add a line to give yourself superadmin on any server that you connect to.
  7. Package in .zip format
  8. Submit to ScriptFodder.
  9. Get Denied
  10. Appeal
  11. Repeat

I don't recommend really going past step 4, but I laid it all out in case you need a play-by-play. (Well.. and step 7 & 8 may be helpful too).
