Whats up,

A lot of people struggle to get their ideas off the ground, it costs money which could be better invested in Scriptfodder scripts, or other licensed content.

Because we've had a good month - we wanted to give back. We're running a start-up platform; provided you have the addons for your project legally purchased, we can provide up to 3 months hosting to help you get your project off the ground. This isn't just limited to game hosting! So please tell us how we can help your project and we'll see what we can do! :)

Just Got Free Hosting For My New Server, I'm About To Be Starting, I would really recommend trying these guys out, with this start up program or paid if your not lucky enough to get a startup. Im really happy im able to get my idea out and just wanna thank Drizzy And Crident!

If you dont mind me asking, whats the difference between your package and Ovh's package? Ovh is cheaper, well-known and a reputable brand. I really hope you're not purchasing ovh's dedicated server and selling it on for more. Personally, I wouldnt include 'Included Support' as a selling point because that should be a standard with any company selling something.

Firstly - dedicated servers are not our main seller. In fact - I don't really want to sell them. This is partially why the prices are higher. The only orders we get regarding dedicated servers is mostly spam "agencies".

However our dedicated servers are desigend for large communities - as such they run our DDoS mitigation, and can be configured to meet the communities needs. One example - is Multiverse Gaming; they're a large community which use a dedi, with our filters protecting them on the ports they're using for the respective applications. We can also have custom filters designed to protect other applications which we don't mention on our website.

Why we mention support is because we are a managed host - which OVH isn't. You can ask us questions like "Why is my Garry's Mod server doing this", and we can actually give useful information, and even try to debug issues instantly on the spot. You would never find OVH doing this. Talking about OVH - as we're a corprate client with a fairly large account we have access to prioritised support - which in turn can help you.

But dedicated servers are not something I actively try to market, nor do I have much interest in focusing on them. They're purely there for people who have the cash to splash :P

We are by no means a budget host, and we don't claim we are.

Thanks for clearing it up. As an 'outsider', someone who isn't really familiar with either services, I wouldn't have really gathered that about Crident.

I had a server there for about a month, when I got the idea to start a new project. I killed it after a month though. Either way, the hosting was pretty solid. There was no problems with their control panels, server up-time was 100% for that month, and the support was quick to reply when I had questions.

the owner of crident is p chill, and his server specs look neat along with that ddos protection that everyone wants these days.

I really don't know what Paperlacks is talking about - but I guess he's just salty for me making fun of his shitty coding back then (thought it was settled Truckie boi) - and Mikael can't take a joke.

Anyways, Craphead already answered all my concerns - good to know.
