So since SE is dead now, I hope I can post this (pls no ban). For anyone that wants to make a SE clone, here's the SE lua code.

After the verification code got ran and succeeded, it would load the actual script (which I won't post here for obvious reasons)
Bonus: SE sent everything over the web in plaintext

I think the drm service billy made is pretty good,(not MoonDRM the one he currently uses) it may be easy to get past for someone who knows what they're doing but most people dont when they leak.

thanks to some of the code posted in this thread BLib will be more secure.
I've recently added offline backups so if my server goes down BLib should load offline versions, too.
However, I really don't plan on making it public, unfortunately.
it seems weird that phoenix would just shut down everything like this, did something happen within the scriptfodder community, one wouldnt just leave with a bad reputation for no reason I think

Do a PayPal dispute if you own his scripts, from what I gathered on Discord you should get a refund.
I bought the script/game mode 10 months ago, if I dispute it would I still get a refund??

I think that he just found out that you need to take a lot of shit when you are a company, especially if you have a bad attitude to some businesses or people. He probably couldn't take it anymore and saw this as an easy way out.

no. SE hid the Server code, so removing his checks wouldn't do much? It'll remove the errors on the serverside yes, however SE also served the Server code to the server, thats why you need that check. But with SE down no one can access the server code. Also Drizzy.Vip's workaround never worked, ever.

Why Scriptfodder don't make a option for add a DRM service ? Sciptfodder's DRM that's can be cool no ?
because DRM is cracked super easily for GMod, as ScriptEnforcer was literally just RunString with a http.Fetch that could be cracked in under a minute by literally anyone - the more of an issue you try to make the redistribution of the script, the more of an issue you're making for the end users who buy the scripts.
if you really think your gmod addon code is that precious to protect just wait for gmodsecure
but as of right now, stop being dicks to your customers and fix your scripts

I have 3 Garry's Mod Server running many DRM Scripts. It will take a lot of time to until all scripts are updated by their creators and updated on my servers. Currently almost everything is not working. In my opinion it's one of the biggest scandals!
Leakforums is so unorganized. They have like 5+ threads all about the same thing, instead of one thread existing for it.

SE had no professional relationship with ScriptFodder, they were an external service. So that statement makes no sense.
