Preferred chat box?
I know most people would likely say "Atlas chat" but I have been looking at a bunch of them, and I wanted other peoples opinion on the chat boxes on gmodstore. I personally want to hear suggestions other than Atlas.
I like HatsChat. I mean, it looks outdated but the themes and the functionality are there. It's so easy to configure and players can use their own themes. It's not too expensive either.

SChat looks very clean in my opinion, the text looks good and everything looks perfect. I however like the Atlas Chat skin most and of course its in-built tag system and everything. I would buy SChat if I were you.
Completely agree with Obitus. SChat is just vey sleek and well....Smooth ;)
I know im not funny...
Hmmmm sounds pretty biased to me...... ;)
Me and my community enjoys https://www.gmodstore.com/scripts/view/3845/sh-chatbox-lounge
we had hatchat2 but ehhh it's not the greatest anymore
In reality though, Speak is extremely well written, but it seems like some people have issues with it.
I'd go with either Atlas Chat or SH Chatbox. I personally use Atlas Chat, and have been using it for the past 3+ years without any major issues. Can't really go wrong with it.
im using ClearChat and i can say that i have no problems with it (exept that the chat is default at the bottom of the hud and so it can block the view of the health etc) but ingame client and server settings :)
I use Hatchat may be old but gets the job done.
