IPGB (lite) - Free release
Hello,
after my Addon IPGB had quite success (14 sales within less than 1 day) BUT it had been deactivated again, I decided to make a Lite Version for free, so everyone can enjoy it.
This was the GmodStore version, but I had to add very much useless shit (like 2/3 of the whole code) just to make it market-worthy. In the new lite version, all this crap is removed including the files which lead to the deactivation of it. All in all I like it much more better (but I miss the UI, but 1500+ lines of code for that shit is not worth it).
What makes it better than other Geo Blockers?
This one is instant, using the "CheckPassword" hook, users are being kicked in less then 5 seconds after pressing "join server". Credits to nvs2000 for showing me this hook. Also I offer support for it via Steam.
Remaining features:
- Update Check
- Ultra Fast Kick (<5 seconds after pressing "join Server")
- Message Customizer
- SteamID/CC Whitelist
Missing Features
- No Ingame Menu/Config
- No Logging
- No Console Commands
- No Networking (not really a feature)
- No Database support.

if you include the files yourself (and not using autorun)
Yeah, might be, I just cut out some parts of the original addon, Didn't checked everything, you can do a pull request or open a new issue if you want to.
Do you plan on fixing your paid add-on? If not, then why release a "lite" version? Or is this "lite" version supposed to be better than the paid one, but it's only called "lite" because there are less of the gimmicky features?

I will not fix the old one, I don't think it's logical to fix things which are unnecessary. (Refer here for more).
The lite version features "less of the gimmicky features". In my opinion it is better but I won't get any revenue from it.
