Need opinions on design

The size of the banner is gmodstores' and we're not there yet The two headers fonts are pretty ugly imo Should add more color to grab the eye, it's pretty dark and people won't notice it as much as a light banner.

I'm aware of the size, I am designing for gmodstore in the future, which is why I am using the size. It's no point in making logo's and stuff if I am just going to make headers in the future.

It is not quite small - it is even bigger than the labels on the right, do you want people to look at your scripts features or the watermark? It's like you've put it there just for the bragging right. It's gonna be your script, of course it is going to be obvious that graphic is yours, don't need to show it lol. I doubt that anyone would want to steal it, what for anyways? It would look more professional without the watermark.

Anyway, I think you all misunderstood. I'm not going to publish the script or the banner, I just made the watermark when I posted the banner, I did it on multiple spots. I have no intention of making a script due my lack of lua knowledge.

bright, heavy gradient, bolded text on black cant be seen from the size of banners on the script page, so i wouldn't be using a design like this.

there a tons of people who give their first try on a banner and give it to their friends or release it for devs. you saying "future script design" can mean anything. you're counter arguments to a shitpost are vague. a better counter argument would be this is off-topic :p

Ok I admit, I wrote a little bit too fast...

So, here's the thing dude...

If you're making banner/header for your own script, it's totally ok to put your name on it, BUT if you do it for someone else, then the only name you should see on the image is the name of the developer, not the name of the banner designer. Especially if you get payed for your work, people expect you to remove any watermarks (on the finished product of course, it's okay to put a watermark on it if they haven't payed for it yet). Ask them to credit you in the script description, but watermarks are a No-Go! No one wants that on an image, it just ruins the whole image in my opinion.

And if I see a header/banner with a watermark on it, I normally create a new one for the script-owner, completely free, watermark free and without begging/forcing them to credit me, just because I hate watermarks so hard.

if you dont read it appears toxic, if you remove the "ass" from my first post he probably wouldnt have taken it that i was attacking his username. therefore he wouldnt have gotten so offended to start an argument. didnt realize a few curse words could change a tone into incoherent screeching. he didnt make it clear for all of us so i responded, but he obviously wasnt here to take advice so he kept going.

Hi,

1. Remove the watermark A. You're selling a script, so people know you made the banner. If not then put the persons credentials in the description to give them credit for the banner
2. Change the font A. I understand it's Star Wars themed but some people might find it hard to read it. Instead give it the same look if you can. Either by changing the font or give it a light colored backdrop. This way people don't have to struggle to read your banner to see what you're offering to the public.
3. Light to Dark transition A. From going to a light color to a dark, it seems to ME at least that its a little "unprofessional". Give it a smooth transition that way people will know its somewhat professional looking when trying to decide to buy it or not.
4. Complementary Colors A. Try to look at a color wheel and decide from opposite colors. It's always good to see a good color selection in a banner to make it feel optimistic and friendly looking when looking at it. B. In my opinion you're only using 3 basic dull colors. I'm not saying make it bright as a fucking rainbow, but make it less dull, even though it's a Star Wars addon.
