I will keep using MySQLi for now. I can't see an significant advantage in PDO to switch.

y o u ' r e joking right?

it's faster, has named parameters, better object orientation, more connection options, no shitty loops when fetching assoc, better query binding, and lets not forget prepared statements(cl)

As said above, it's not faster, but that's not the point. I'm using this PHP class, it makes things easy and it brings named paramters, prepared statements, pagination and more. You will get a more clearly code as result. I couldn't find any compareable class for PDO. "more connection options" will not help me, most hosters have MySQL and nothing else. "no shitty loops when fetching assoc" also doesn't effect me, due to the PHP class.

Add the ability to select different options for custom DarkRP jobs, similar to Prometheus.

#27

Yeah, that's already planned. But as I wrote earlier, the restructuration has priority.

A nice extra for the warning system might be an automatic warn when someone is kicked and/or banned.

#29

Support for Discourse API?

Update 1.2.0 Released

Important Notice: If you have any issues with the design not looking correctly or settings not loading, clear your CloudFlare cache (if you are using CloudFlare) and press CTRL+F5 on every page that seems to be wrong. Otherwise, the issues will be gone after four hours (except you have other caching settings). If a problem perisists, create a support ticket.

Unable to buy? I have no other good way to contact you but every time for the past 3-4 days I have been getting the same error VIA paypal saying unable to process my order but it goes through smoothly with the 4 other addons I have bought since then

It'd be good if we could get some more information put into the banlist system. Stuff like IPs used or so forth. Profiles should have an admin-viewable IP history too. Also, the interface could use some work. The banlist page should honestly be separate from the admin menu dropdown. Some icons also don't make sense in the GUI. (Megaphone icon for the admin menu dropdown is not really clear about what it actually does.)

Also doing any kind of edit to the overall color/theme of it is kind of pointlessly difficult. It'd help if you had some predefined palette colors that could be easily changed like Xenforo does. On that same note, you have some parts of the system using hard-coded in HTML coloring, which is counter intuitive to being able to recolor it into say, a dark theme, for example. (for example, the notifications "No notifications available." line is styled via HTML as black, when it should just have its' own class so it can be done with CSS properly.)

Some donation packages should also be definable as multi-server packages, too. We use some free-form donation packages with prometheus currently which would make sense to have to only make one and tell it that it's used for servers groups A, B. and C. Instead of having to make copies for each group.

Although i love this addon and appreciate its primarily a Garrys Mod addon, how difficult or possible would it be to tie in other games like rust in the donation packages?

Was wondering the exact thing.

@017 An IP history is already included on the user profile. And that the banlist isn't public is purposely but will be changed with an update. It wasn't initially planned to support custom themes, and I know that there are some difficulties with in-line CSS. However I try to remove them with future updates. The idea with packages for multiple server bundle sounds good, I will try to do this.

@Sonic Cloud @Postino The Lua addon is very complex. It would need lots of time to recreate all functions for other games especially if I don't have experience with those games and don't know if it's even possible to realize the needed functions. Just making an underdone addon for just donation packages would not fit into the concept of GExtension.

Sucks, since I was thinking of opening a server on garry's other game :p

Well, thank you anyway

After some time the web console feature makes the server lag due to it saving the data all the time. Would be nice if this could be disabled or at least optimized.

#38

@DJReFor As you can read in the wiki, the cause for that is not saving the data to the database (because that doesn't change) but the size of the console.log file and the process of reading it. Just create a cronjob that deletes/moves the console.log file every day/week or clear the file from time to time. This will also allow you to find logs from a specific day. Lua addons do not have access to the console.log file, so it's not possible for me to do this automaticly.

#39

Add auto-chargebacks and ban filtering for admins, also an option to make the ban list public and show all punishments to admins on a users profile.

Suggestion: maybe add a Discord integration module, so users are not limited to TS3. I also see a lot of server communities using Discord for their communication outside the server.
