What server host do you guys recommend?

Hello, I am the owner of a semi-popular DarkRP community. We get around 60-70 players a day and our current server host is just awful. We don't really have all that many problems with server lag, but we do have a MAJOR problem with server crashes (not due to prop spam or anything of that nature). We tend to get about three server crashes a day which is just unacceptable in my opinion. We currently use Serinity Servers for our hosting, please do not give me shit for this, they gave me three free months of hosting on their "dedicated" server package, due to some problems I had with them in the past. But this package is due for an actual payment on the 5th of January and I would really like to have a fresh start on another host that hopefully has better performance and allows us to go without crashing on a regular basis. I look forward to getting some ideas for server hosts!

Thank you

y can nobody read the board descriptions.

also NFO, GMC, Crident have been pretty great hosts.

Never get Nitros Servers, XeonServers, Serenity Servers or any hosting "partner" that is ran by a 14 year old cause for some reason that's a trending topic now.

I demand this be backed up by a video showing a bullet shot into their servers.

Those OVH servers got me cringing.

EDIT: Rating dumb because they use OVH, Kappa.

What I did is get a good dedicated server that suits your location, has good hardware, is well priced and that has good ddos protection.

Try out simrai - if you got the cash go for OVH/Kimsufi/plugpayplay for a dedicated server.

it's the newest and most classified level 7 bullet proof shielding that cannot be shown!

Everything. Their processors, their network and the fact that they severely overload machines.

The only good thing about serinity servers is their support team. The performance is just awful. Constant downtime. I have made at least 20 tickets to them concerning the server going into an "unknown" state which they seem to always blame on "disk issues" I would never recommend them

Hosthatch is pretty good, good prices and such :)

Haven't had a problem with NFO yet, great service, decent pricing, awesome support, but their server panel looks a tad out of date (but who really cares).

Moved it to the correct section. There are also plenty of these threads already, if you searched the forum a bit.

Use Zare or ovh.

OVH sucks. im on them and i got really hard lags. the only good thing is their DDoS protection (which REALLY works) but the performance... well, i want to move also to another host but i couldnt find a really good one (looking for a windows server within DDoS protection)

OVH sucks? lags? you gotta be insane. I've ran large communities for countless of years, after experience OVH offer the best ddos protection, and cheapest dedicated servers you can get, and a lot of "gmod server hosts" use OVH dedies for their shared hosting. I'm talking about their service in Europe, haven't used their US based servers.

Note: for the people who rated my post dumb above, you have no obvoisly clue about hosting, and are probably the same kind of people who would purchase a NFO server that can be downed by a $5 booter.

with their DDoS protection i agree, thats what i wrote also (i got attacked a few times but it never came throu). im german, my root is in north of france, once my server has 8 ppl (or 3+ TDM cars) its not playable anymore because of massive lags. CPU and RAM are really low (CPU ~4-5%, RAM 10-15% in that time). i got told of wrong configs, so i changed them also, removed addons because they make lags (like unboxing, CAC (where i dont understand why), bLogs and a few more (and i should change bLogs with pLogs, which is disabled)
