Hello, I'm moonchickendograt. I've been mapping since 2010. I offer a close-to-professional product for a reasonable price.

Mapping Lesson Time and Costs:

$20 Mapping Lesson for 1 hour and 30 minutes each. The first lesson will discuss the hammer editor interface, engine limitations, and how to manipulate brushes and textures. You need teamviewer, a microphone, and any valve source engine game. Additional lessons are tailored to your learning pace.

Map Production Time and Costs:

  1. A small map less than 0.5 sq miles using mostly valve assets would take 2 months to produce - $200 USD
  2. A small map using mostly custom assets (all created by myself) could take 4-6 months to produce - $400 USD
  3. Anything larger than 0.5 sq mile would take significantly more time and would require additional developers. (Whom I have access to)

I'm afraid not, I've dealt with Hammer before in the editor it looks different, especially optimization as it is pain in the you know. And the fact that the editor is old and buggy makes it harder to work with, it can get on your nerves. Good work!
