Players disconnecting while joining
Hey guys,
I just launched a new server and I noticed a lot of player joining and disconnecting while loading into the server. To preface the server is using FastDL and the download is about 7gb. Most of my friends are able to join the server just fine except for one who is running on weaker hardware and crashes shortly after loading in.
I’ve searched some of the players steamids who are trying to connect and most are brand new accounts or accounts with very few hours in gmod. Is this normal or is there a problem with my server. It’s important to note that out of the 20 or so players that attempted joining 0 of them successfully got in.
I’ve ran multiple servers in the past and never had this problem .

people don't want to wait too long to join a server
That's fair, but that not it I contacted one of the players and they said that they randomly got disconnected while joining. Starting to think its the gluapack ill keep testing though.
Its because when people join other servers then joins yours they download similar content which conflicts and hence they tend to crash
