MY DEVELOPER LEAKED MY SCRIPTS, BUT I GOT BANNED?
So your developer has leaked your scripts, because you gave some random kid access to your FTP server, and now you are facing the punishment.
The story that a developer has leaked scripts, and the buyer is now banned for it is something we hear a lot in ban appeals. If you are in the position that you have been banned for leaking, but it was not you who leaked it, then please be aware that we will need evidence to unban you.
If you want to use the story that your developer leaked the scripts, then you must have evidence that you are not the leaker. We know it's difficult to prove, but that is not our problem.
Please don't post a thread with the "developer story" without including any evidence. It will be closed.
Going off of what Crap-Head stated about closing the threads that you post without proof, keep in mind we've already had a million (obviously exaggerating, but it feels like that) people who have posted appeals stating their brother, their sister, their developer, their friend, or their co-owner have leaked their addons because they had access to it in some way, and that it is not their fault.
This is not a valid excuse without evidence. It was your server, with your scripts, and thus your responsibility to maintain everything. So keep in mind while it does suck that you may have to stay banned because you can't provide proof, we can't just straight up take your word for it.
FTP Logs are a thing. Learn how to use 'em. Or ask your host for the logs if you don't have access to them. Make everyone who has access to your server have a different username in your FTP. That way, if a developer/friend/dog does go rogue, you have proof that it wasn't you.

If you are banned, this is an important rule...
You are not allowed to create/use an alternate account. By doing so you are considered to be avoiding your ban, and we will ban the alt you created/used. This can also be taken into account with your appeal, depending on the moderator. Most of the time this will lead in your appeal being declined.
