Experienced Mapper / Back Open For Business
INTRODUCTION
Hello, my name is Shaun, or as most people know me, Arctic. I am the founder of Master Work Studios. We originally started as just a gmod server, while I did some mapping on the side. Now we are trying to move on to the next stage. I am teaching a few mappers and we want to begin making maps commercially. For any old clients that I have not been able to finish maps for I sincerely apologize. I overestimated myself and how much time I had, and it got ahead of me. Now I am accepting map commissions again, and I will only accept a max of 3 at a time to prevent the overflow like last time.
As for myself, I'm a pretty light hearted and easy-going guy. I have a passion for things like this (mapping, game development, etc.) I am also, however very serious about my work and upholding my reputation, which is why I want to make up for the jobs I was unable to complete.
THE GOOD STUFF
Now that you've heard my life story, time to get on to the interesting part. The maps. Currently we specialize in sci-fi themed maps, but if you have an idea, we can make it a reality. At the bottom of this post will be some provided pictures of a project I've worked on. We stay extremely involved with our clients. Any time we make significant progress, you will know about it! We do this to keep you informed on progress and to allow you to make changes, give input, etc.
MY TEAM
All of my team members are reliable, and dedicated. We will work together to bring you the BEST possible map that we can give you. While they are still learning how to map, they work hard and all work will be held to my standard. These are their names

PRICING
Pricing varies greatly for maps, however we typically stay between $200-$1000, and we only reach the higher end of the spectrum for massive-scale projects. However, these are our payment rules, if you do not agree to them, do not send us job requests. Payment Methods (You can choose any of the 3):
- Pay all money up front and wait for map completion.
- Wait until all progress on the map is done and send payment BEFORE getting the map file
- Pay in chunks, the map will be broken into chunks and as each chunk gets completed, send payment. These are non-negotiable, and anyway you can send money to our paypal is acceptable.

I don't think this is a good idea, what if you spend all that time doing the map and the guy just vanishes or doesn't pay?
Some people have brought this up to me before. We are running or are planning to run multiple servers, so chances are if they decide to vanish then we will happily use their map. Also, I forgot to mention in my post, I will edit it after this, that I give constant updates and am very involved with our clients, so they can't really vanish.
And if it comes down to them refusing to pay AND we cannot use the map, I will look for one of my past clients that might be able to use it and give it to them. Lastly, if THAT doesn't work, then it will have a nice, comfortable spot in the recycle bin.

wall of text in above comment
That's ridiculous, maps can take tons of time to make (especially complex ones) and you need some kind of security that the person is actually able to pay, please take off the "pay when map is done" payment option because that will hurt you immensely in the long run
I appreciate your concern, but I know what I'm doing. My payment methods have worked for me for years in all fields of work I've done.
Thanks for your input though.
Nice work will definitely remember the name :)
I honestly see nothing wrong with his payment methods. I doubt he would continue to finish a map when a client disappears as he said he keeps them up to date. If they stop responding to these updates for a prolonged amount of time, just don't continue working, easy.
Hey Arc, curious if those of us who did come to you when you got swamped will still get the maps you had talked on, just checking if we were forgotten or not =]
Why do you need so many chairs for gmod server?

Hey, Dilly and absolutely I'd be happy to retake the commission, you're the only one who hasn't found a new mapper already lol. If you're still happy with what we agreed on previously I would be happy to redo that commission.

Why do you need so many chairs for gmod server?
Good question. They're for sitting, mainly.
Sounds good Arc, i shot you a message on steam, let me know
Our mapping roster is being updated with a bunch of new people with a LOT of experience. Most if not all are trusted on the gmod store, and are joining our team. We look forward to working together to bring you guys the best possible maps!
Hi, I have created a map but have been having many issues. Would I be able to hire you to come in a call and help me resolve issues?
Hello, I am looking for someone to design a JvS map, I added you on steam for more details.
