Need someone to optimize my code ;)

Yeah sure, but if it is a clear evidence then there's nothing to decide... And otherwise I'll just search for a legit person here who helps me deciding unclear evidences...

How does this work? Do server owners need to place something on their server or what?

#23

Again and again I'm drilling this into you.

Trust.

You have nothing that supports you running something like this that can be used on a multitude of servers.

#24

Apart from trust n' shit you still haven't answered my questions on how you're going to prevent spam and exploits into your database.

#25

Soo Nook, as I see there's nothing I can do to convince you... Then maybe this will make me trustful... Everyone had their beginning...

yeah everyone has a beginning that's what builds up reputation. nooky didn't begin with becoming a scriptfodder moderator he had his public reputation built up (on facepunch, here, etc) and got it.

I didn't? Do I get you wrong, sorry? The database is currently a php file containing the ips which is being read out by a http.fetch function... I don't know if and how you can abuse that...

Everyone had their beginning, but it wasn't running a huge database handling reports, that could effectively (if misused/not ran properly) block out a lot of innocent people.

You keep trying to convince me, but failing because you insist that you're "trustworthy", without backing it up.

SQL injections, spamming requests, etc

I understand the reputation is a fairly big problem but can you answer my question to please, i'm interested. How does this work? Do server owners need to place something on their server or what?

#31

Nook, I simply can't. Especially not in your language. I already told you of my Workshop (with around 9k-10k subscribers), my profile and my clan. That's all I got. Tell me, what should I do in your opinion, cancel the project?

No, currently it's Clientside, but I'm planning to write a server side system too.

Subs on the workshop don't mean much tbh, I had a couple thousands on my skid scripts that i released for fun (aka aimbot, esp, etc).

I'd focus on something else than a scam exposer, since one is already breaching birth soon.

Ok I was gonna say if it requires a server owner to place something on their server, anyone with leaked shit isn't gonna do that making the entire idea pointless.

I think what everyone else means is, start with smaller projects. You're kinda throwing yourself in the deep end.

No SQL, no injections. Can a http.fetch function take down a website? I don't think so (but I also don't know)...

Even your lack of knowledge here is concerning. You've given me nothing that proves you even know how to handle a project like this.

Yeah I already did smaller projects (look at my Workshop). And I had no idea what I could do next except this system...

#38

This is a public addon right? Where is the code itself?

I also remember you asking for help on the http functions a little while ago. Are you sure you can handle this?

I'll release it on the workshop and on GitHub once it's ready to use. But I'll grant trustful SF developers early access if they want to...
