Amazon AWS for GMod

Last read Never

I'm looking at possible hosts for my next GMod project, and am between using GMC again or using NFO again, but I haven't seen ANYTHING on people using Amazon AWS for hosting GMod. Has anyone done it? Is it just flawed enough that it isn't worth mentioning? Or is it just too unknown to the community? I'm NOT looking for any input on any host besides Amazon, so please do not comment on any other host in this thread.

My specific needs are high player-count, high tick, high entity and calculation count (zombies, other ai, etc).

Thanks for your time!

In theory it may work but I assume it hasn't been done and hasn't been done for a reason.

doesnt matter what provider you use you can host a gmod server as long as you have the resources

I've never thought about it, it could be expensive though. Maybe everyone else thinks the same so they haven't attempted.

Would be cool if someone actually calculated it maybe.

This should have just been asked here in the thread dedicated to hosting questions. https://www.gmodstore.com/community/threads/6O2z8HDWTiS851zOJ7wRvA
