fix the forum search please
As content creators, we don't have access to ban histories, however, searching for the post history of a user allows us to see if he opened an unban request and see if he used to be banned.
pls fix
edit: you can also give me root, it will do the job
+1
I don't really get why you want access to information you weren't supposed to have access to in that way anyway. You can actually view a user's ban history through the API so we'll make you able to see previous bans on the site in v3. For now, use the API. It's really simple.
I still need to search the forum from time to time
matt fix it
Glad someone else was having those problems as well

i mean to be fair we don't know if v3 is coming in the next week or 5 years, so it would be nice to have some bugs fixed on the v2 just to help out for now :D
I can't even use the forum part of the v2 site on my local development machine because of it using a newer MySQL version, the entire forum is broken due to bad queries. It would require me to first of all fix all those broken queries and then fix the search, it's just not worth it for the time it takes for us. v3 is not that far away as the latest dev blog suggests, meaning there's literally no point fixing this bug
