Stepping Down

So with the release of v3 I have to say I've never been prouder of Matt and Marcuz. They've managed to turn this wonderful marketplace from something I remember first coming out to replace CoderHire (and that everyone was worried about killing Garry's Mod) to a very polished and professional product. They have done a magnificent job and I know that wherever they go in life that they will succeed.

Both of them have been a pleasure to work with over the two years that I've been staff. When I first joined the team I was going through some very rough times with my father having passed, and it gave me the perfect opportunity to distract myself and give back to the community I had been a part of. Then I had the opportunity to do even more by becoming Community Manager and that was even better. Was I perfect however? No. I remember a few times I pissed everyone off (I'm sure a few of you can think of a few instances). But I always did try to provide for the community between here and the gamemode competitions, and like to believe I succeeded in some respect.

I also strongly believe that we have a wonderful staff team here and that you all should be very thankful that you have them. We've seen people come and go but all in all they are a solid group of people who volunteer their time to make this site work. Each comes from a different background but still give the same level of effort, and for that I'm glad to say I got to work closely with all of them, and I know they'll continue doing their best and making this site stand strong.

With this though - I'm going to be stepping down from my staff position, both as Community Manager and as a moderator. Thank you everyone for your time, and for all the chances I've had to spend with all of you. I wish you all luck in what you choose to do, and maybe I'll see you around sometime. I also wish GmodStore the best of luck for the long run.
