Hello today I would like to know how I could be reimbursed for all the addons I bought because I stopped my server a friend told me that we had reimbursed I would like to know how we do it please
Hey, I bought this dodge charger 6 years ago and I no longer use it. Can I get reimbursed full price for this used car even though I bought it new?
On a serious note: once you buy an addon and download it, you can't get a refund. Only exception is asking the developer him/herself for a valid reason - such as the addon doesn't work for you or if they want to do it.
Yeah as soon as you download an script you can no longer refund it, since there is no way to make sure that you dont use it anymore
It's completely at the discretion of the content creator you purchased it from, unless it's some very special circumstance (such as you got double charged for the same addon by gmodstore).
Most content creators will not provide refunds unless you haven't downloaded the addon already (which yes, content creators can see when you last downloaded it and what version). Some do not offer any refunds after purchase, even if you haven't downloaded it. You can open a ticket with that specific addon to figure out your options.
Most of the time us content creators get tickets asking for a refund because they "don't need the addon anymore"--we come to see that they've downloaded it, and through various tracking utilities, we see it running live and well on their server. Regardless, once you've downloaded the script you have what you paid for and it's only fair that the content creator keeps the money they worked for.
I Offer refunds on mine based on certain circumstances. for example if you are unable to use my product after purchase due to the DRM or "Doesn't suit the purpose" they wanted it for. But i can offer this due the DRM and unfortunately due to no license system on gmodstore itself its not even like you can have a proper controlled way to prevent leaks of and ingame addon once purchased.
However if you ask the curator they may show you some leniency but it is at their own discretion you might get lucky but you also may not but please respect their decision. Note: paypal disputing IS NOT the answer it will only backfire on you.
