About Me:

I am a developer for hire that will make custom addons for you. I do not create models/materials, so you will have to supply your own models/materials if you would like me to create a SENT or SWEP with a custom model. I currently am a developer on a popular Sandbox server called Egg's Gmod Server. The links show proof that I develop for the server. [GameTracker] [Server Website] [Imgur Portfolio]


Why me?:

I have a lot of hours in Garry's Mod and a lot of experience with creating a lot of things. I have a lot of experience with DarkRP, Sandbox, and TTT, so I can create most of the things people need.


Past Work:

As I have stated above, I am a developer on a popular Sandbox server. I have 4,500+ hours in Garry's Mod with 2,500 of those being in DarkRP and the rest being in TTT and Sandbox. You can click the GameTracker link above and look at the "Server Manager" for proof that I develop for Egg's Gmod Server. I have created numerous things for the server which include a sandbox build-mode script, a basic anticheat, and smart anti-crash scripts. As stated earlier, I also have a lot of experience with DarkRP, so I can also make addons for DarkRP.


Instructions:

  1. Post here saying what it is you want to be done and add me on Steam. To make sure I don't accidentally ignore your friend request, please comment on my profile saying that you added me for the GmodStore Hire Me post.
  2. Be clear and know exactly what you want. State what you want via Steam. If you want a GUI done, make some basic thumbnails and/or sketches to present exactly what you want. If you don't know how to make a sketch or thumbnail of what you want done, either have someone else do it for you, or scan a photo of you want. If you don't have anyone to do it for you and you don't know how to scan photos, then make a VERY clear and concise description of what you want.
  3. Give a reasonable deadline. (1 week minimum depending on what it is you want done.)
  4. Name your price for what you think it should cost. Do not make it unreasonable, otherwise, I will decide the price for you.
  5. Once we have agreed on everything, I will begin work and finish within the deadline.
  6. I will just set up a quick Peer-To-Peer Listen server with the addon loaded, so you can test it.
  7. After testing, pay the amount discussed to [email protected].
  8. The addon will be given to you through MEGA or a reasonably secure file transfer service of your choice.


Client Requirements:

  1. You must have proof that you can pay. This only applies if you have little to no reputation (5 or less) on GmodStore.
  2. You cannot have negative reputation on GmodStore.
  3. Do not create short deadlines. It should be at least a week depending on what it is you want done.
  4. If you want me to create a custom SWEP or SENT with a custom model/material, you need to supply that yourself.


Other Information:

  1. Since Steam does not save chat information, I will be taking screenshots along the way of chats to prevent scamming and misunderstandings.
  2. I have school, so I may not have much time on the weekdays. So please, do not spam me with "Are you done yet?".

A server website isn't a portfolio, nor is a (no offense) ugly server timeline that you probably edit manually whenever something is updated.

You need a REAL portfolio with REAL work shown.

The server timeline is something that was quickly scratched together and was just for player reference. It is not made to look very good. I have been planning on redoing it for some time. But, web design is not one of the things I do jobs for. Also, the server website is just for more proof that I work for the server, not really a portfolio. I will be putting together a real portfolio soon with pictures.

I understand where you are coming from with professionalism, however, I do not think names or pictures should decide whether someone is professional or not. They are eggrolls and this is the name I have used for years.

This has nothing to do with DarkRP jobs. Anyway, I posted what I could dig up from screenshots and put it into an Imgur. The link is in the OP. I will be making a real portfolio with more of my work on a website soon.

I could not care less about who or what you are. You do not come to a professional website dealing with real money and expect people to take you seriously when you call yourself "the asian egg roll maker".

It's a report against some skid threatening to take his account who cares, three isn't advertising his services anywhere he's just selling scripts...

Not to mention if you've done jobs before by all means prove it instead of not posting a portfolio...

Just saw your stuff, you might wanna get more experience before doing work here, anti-crashes are easy to make, the "anti cheat" you made is just a list of lua files to exclude (kinda like hex's little public ulx list of "bad commands") then your HUD isn't near good tbh

The anti-cheat is not a list of lua files. It actually detects Lua cheats by checking for known hacks and searching for things that should not exist on the client. It uses the things it detects and learns those to find more cheats. The screenshot is only a list of what that specific person had. The HUD is a work in progress. The functionality works and now I just need to make it look better. Also, as I said before, I have more work than this, but I do not have the time right now to get a real portfolio up with all my projects, as I still need to search my computer for my work. I am currently away from my computer though.

If you don't have the time to make a simple portfolio with all your work how do you have time to do jobs? A portfolio is everything in the work world (resume too) and this is still somewhat the work world, you won't get any clients with that type of work shown, at least non-desperate clients.

As far as portfolio, it's part of what we ask for. Me personally, I do NOT even consider someone without a portfolio nor do I take them serious. Not saying you aren't, but it's a huge deal breaker, especially when I have to ban people every single day for scamming, and the job maker could have easily avoided it by asking for this one simple thing instead of accepting "I do stuff" as the answer.

Care to share your anti-cheat with me? I'd like to see if it really is able to make it through the paces, or if it is just another basic anti-cheat with poor detection methods.

I don’t see a problem woth him giving the website. He’s giving proof he’s made scripts and was obviously professional with his DESC. I extremely dislike other content creators ruining a post for someone. With this much negative criticism if I was a curious client I would click off the post. But this being said I am not against Eggroll to make a portfolio as it would help with future jobs.
