Want to talk about few things I saw on Gmodstore.

Well that happens when you meet another "culture".

I remember back when I joined GmodStore I was actually quite shocked aswell. Its a huge difference to what I've seen before.

Well. Thats kinda just how it is. I know some people here are especially toxic and all, but yeah this is how things are. A decent type of toxicity here is normal, everyone that is not toxic at all actually sticks out in a very positive way (say Freemmaann or Obitus).

You will get used to it. It may take you a few months but it will happen. Don't be butthurt, it wil eventually harden you :P

Just to give everyone a bit of context: Communities in Germany are quite different. Most of the time a bit more serious but most importantly: Toxicity and insults of any kind are prohibited. I mean funny puns and all are ok, but what you see here on GmodStore would not be tolerated there. So joining GmodStore is quite rough to a lot of us. Seeing that is concerning and confusing at first but yeah, as I said, you will get used to it.

Yeah sure, for no reason, at all, must be some curse that i have.

Shared hosts will most commonly restart your server automaticly ignoring that your current server keeps running, changing your port and voila Securegmod error.

Wouldn’t even buy your scripts if you would be the last developer on gmodstore. Players can join even on a port change :) A port change happens when two instances of the same server are running, which often is the case after a crash.

I know I am not the most liked person on gmodstore as I complain about things nobody else does.

May sound stupid, but it works: Complain less. You can always give someone feedback, but saying something isn't neccessary or it's dumb to release it as DLC is a not the right way to say it.. There is some new stuff in the DLC and I don't see why he cannot make this a DLC? Before you bought this addon, it was defenitely worth it for you, including all the features at that time. So why is it now weird that he released more stuff for his customers, for a very small price?

I'm honestly interested in why such an aggressive mood prevails here.It appears to me that this whole store can not discuss, try to solve problems or show a little bit empathy.I have tried to get informations in this forums but there just filled with offensive immature answers as well asdiscrediting statements and random emoticons trying to get a funny reaction.

There is only few people that respond uninformative sometimes. Just ignore them, there is always someone willing to help you out :) And as Momox said, it is a different community and some people just try to be funny or act like they're superior.

Please understand I really appreciate the time & work developers invest in their scripts and I really love supporting them.I don't have anything against DLC's in generell, but I think there shouldn't include basic things that you really need.

As I said, appearantly the addon was worth it for you when he bought it. He could have also not updated it and left it as it is. He just offers you more! :)

Insults randomly? What did you just do -_-? Lapin is a great developer who puts a lot of time in his scripts. And yes, I agree that can sometimes be very unhelpful and not participate in the thread at all.

Well, back in the CodeHire days, when there was no DRM, a lot of addons were leaked. A DRM makes sure this won't happen anymore. Besides, I don't think it was ever proven that SecureGMOD has performance issues. For whatever reason, I don't like DRM's either, but I can defenitely understand it if someone doesn't wanna use it.

I think freeman and others do a better job.

SecureGMOD won't be a thing anytime soon. The new gmodstore has it's own built-in DRM and it is free for Content Creators. In general DRM? Well, it's up to the developers, the community is the reason they started using a DRM in the first place.

I also admit that there are a few exceptions and some still properly argue and help. It's just stupid if a few can give a picture of a whole community, just because they're more active.

He didn't lie! He indeed doesn't use any SecureGMOD addons. He uses leaks though.. :(

It's Obitus. Also, just try avoiding people like Lapin and The Commander in the future. As I said before, there is still tons of people willing to help, they just aren't as active as Lapin.

PS: I think you are overreacting a lot. I was talking to some guys about you yesterday and only got positive reactions about you, for example from Momox. Besides this, I ALSO helped you yesterday and was in my opinion very friendly (scoreboard chat from last night). It really is only a few guys and not ALL the time.
