Hi everyone, I'm currently developing a darkRP server and I'm worried about the security of the server. My previous one got hacked and all sorts, I'm just not sure what anti cheat to use? I bought CAC a good while ago but apparently it's no good anymore. What are the essential things I need to do to protect my server files & prevent any malicious attacks?
An anticheat won't stop your server from being hacked, it does stop people from cheating, however. It seems you're confused on what the terms mean.
No one can get your serverside files unless you give them to someone.
Oh, okay. I might've got mistaken, a few things happened, It was a good while ago. And with the anti cheat, is there any you could recommend that works and updated? Also, is there anything I should set in my darkRP config or anything that will help the overall security of my server?
