[Suggestion] Banned Scripts?
Ok so there is a lot of scripts that are disabled due to people being cunts and getting themselves banned, but instead of disabling their scripts why doesn't scriptfodder just keep the script enabled but once a developer has been banned, automatically mass message the previous buyers that support is no longer given to the scripts due to the creator being banned and then prompting all future buyers that no support will be offered? Saying this, if the developer is banned for selling a dodgy script, then obviously dont re enable it.
Pros of this being added:
- More scripts. There are a lot of good scripts that have been disabled because the owners are dickheads.
- More cocaine money for handsome matt and the rest of the cave rats which are the SF team
Cons If scripts are obfuscated then maybe developer will be salty and fuck with the script and ruin peoples servers? (In this case just dont resell obfuscated addons, i also doubt obfuscation will be used much in the coming of G M O D S T O R E 's DRM type thingy.)
So, the "rest of the SF team" get no money from script sales on SF. We make our own money.
Anyways, people are banned for a reason and we don't really want them to be able to earn money through our site while banned. Makes sense I guess?
If there is a disabled script you want "remade" then post it here. Some developer might pick it up.

along with a warning on the script page followed by a warning after the purchase button
It's easier not to have to worry about banned users. Typically if they had any scripts submitted, there was a very good reason they were banned.
This would cause some nice drama about us banning good developers just to steal their revenue
FRIKKEN CORRUPT ADMENS FFS!!!!!!!
If there was a section to view disabled scripts it would help me get a better idea of what to make as a product.
Disabled scripts are generally disabled because we don't want anyone to see them though.
I understand where op is coming from that's a semi good idea but really it's kind of messed up stealing the developers money even if they did something wrong it should be the developers choice but yeah then you have to deal with all the drama so it's probably best not to add this

you should look at accepted scripts to get a better idea of what you should make as a product.

I'm talking about ideas wise, using that as inspiration. Not sure how that would go hand and hand with doing something wrong.

Developers could just look through all of this. (the disabled script page or some shit) if it's not on the market anymore, then like he said, a developer would be able to pick it up and release something new. Keep in mind I do see the pros and cons of the situation, however it would be kinda neat.

I have requested a disabled scripts page before. I'm not against the idea, as I would use it for the same thing you are suggesting.
I think the rational response to being permabanned from this site is to release your paid scripts for free.
Either way you can always contact the disabled script's developer and try to buy it directly.

or just use a leak if one's available
if the developer was banned it's probably for a good reason so i'd avoid using their scripts in the first place
I don't like the idea of a disabled scripts page unless we completely hide who the developer is to avoid people contacting them directly to buy the script etc. That just gives them free advertising, perhaps also only show it to people who already are developers and have active scripts.

Sounds good
Because the script that's being sold is the intellectual property of the developer. For ScriptFodder to keep selling it and gaining the profits for themselves that would probably be breaking a few laws. Scriptfodder doesn't own the code that their selling and could face a lawsuit or something similar or be brought to a small claims court.
Just sayin!
