ScriptEnforcer closed
Hi everyone! I totally know that I should not be the author of this thread, but as you seem know, ScriptEnforcer has been closed. This means that all content creators that are using ScriptEnforcer will have their addons which will no longer work. All content creators must upload a version with the entire serverside code or wait for a new DRM (gmodsecure can come in few days, I have no informations about this).

RIP ScriptEnforcer and RIP majority of content creators. I don't have any words for saying how all developers that tried to have their scripts encrypted are now in the shit. GMod Store must come with his DRM abilities, for god sake.

The stupid thing is that there has not been any transition period, like the usual "not accepting new scripts and stopped payments" before shutting down forever. That is insane. And I actually cannot go back to leek because protected scripts are still protected, I am so disappointed!

And as diadia said to me, there is no existing alternate anti-steal mechanism, because Momo was too bored to make a MomoEnforcer. I'm sorry to be so selfish.

While I've never hidden my disdain for DRM, or even SE, I think this is a poor move to do it out of the blue, not giving users much time to prepare.
Clearly yeah. I think that some content creators that did not organize their codes have lost it, because they can't retrieve their success codes. Then don't forget that ScriptEnforcer cost a price: I personally lose more than $10 because I paid few months in advance. I take it as a treachery to do this without warning others.

Oh dear god.. Thank god I did not use ScriptEnforcer as Phoenix so eagerly wished me to do.
This was extremely unproffesional and shitty of Phoenix to do. Make an official announcement, then wait a couple of months for people to get their stuff together.
He has hurt a lot of people at this moment and I've lost all respect for him. Doesn't matter, since he has removed me from friends list, it seems.
This will be an interesting couple of days for server owners.
